New Online Shop!

In order to adapt to an international market
I have opened a new online shop at:

Click on the banner above to go directly
to the new shop launched today!

It will contain items currently stocked in the misi shop, though will cater more for the needs of the customised buyer.  The 'alchemy' facility allows customers to contact me more easily via email to specify the details of commissions or requests.

Both shops will run alongside each other and new lines are coming soon - to include men's and children's jewellery!

On the left is a child's necklace made from a shrink plastic pendant on brown cord with a simple bead fastening.  The children's jewellery will be at child-friendly prices too!!!

Let me know what you think by leaving me your comments - and your customised orders! x

Crazy about clay!

I've had great fun this week making more jewellery from silver art clay and polymer clay - and was even able to combine both to create some really unique pieces.

This is a pair of silver leaf earrings - to complete the set along with the silver leaf necklace I made last week.

Here I have used the theme again, setting half of the leaf into silver polymer clay in the shape of a heart.

.

This one is set into red clay.

I've used some of my handmade beads to make some simple jewellery.

As a flower pendant on a necklace ...

... and a leaf charm on a bracelet.

Take a look at some of the other jewellery I've made recently:

Delicate glass beads in shades of green with small silver beads on silver wire.
Black beads in a variety of shapes with small
faceted beads on black wire.

Square shaped silver and green glass beads mixed with small frosted green beads on silver wire.

Handmade beads ...

... by me!

Today I tried a new skill ... bead making, using polymer clay.  It was great fun and I managed to create a selection of beads with leaves, flowers, butterflies, spots, stripes and swirls.  It'll be interesting to see what jewellery and crafts I can create using my new beads and how many more I'll be inspired to make!  Watch this space and see ...

A new leaf!

I have lots of new leaf designs awaiting production.
This one is a customised order and the largest I've made so far.
It took about 15g of silver and is 6 centimetres from bail to tip.
Come back soon and see some more ...

 Rave reviews!

From time to time it's useful to get feedback from others about my handmade items, the success of the blog and the online shop.  Appraisal from other crafters and professionals is particularly helpful for a relative newbie, so it's been great to get the following feedback from my peers far and wide:
